Program Cosmetic Europe
Cosmetic Risk Assessment
This session is hosted by Cosmetics Europe.
Session description
Ethical concerns, changing regulations and increased mechanistic understanding have driven the development and application of non-animal – next generation risk assessment approaches. This session will review these approaches to skin sensitisation risk assessment and identify how toxicologists and the clinical community can work together to ensure that risk assessments for skin sensitisation are sufficiently protective for consumers.
